Past Students

We've been saying some good things about ourselves so far and we reckon it's probably someone else's turn now... so here are some other people to say good things about us!!

All joking aside these are comments from genuine people we have taught to skydive. They were pleased they chose us as their instructors and we are proud of what they have achieved!

Lieutenant Matt King - Royal Signals 16 Air Assault Brigade

John teaching body position in CaliforniaI first had the pleasure of working with John and Alan when I organised a military AFF expedition to Lake Elsinore, California in March 2004 for 10 soldiers from 16 Air Assault Brigade. I was put in contact with these two instructors through a colleague in the Army when he found out that I was looking for instructors for the expedition.

They were an instant source of advice and very helpful in organising my first AFF trip abroad. John and Alan kindly gave up their own time to meet my students at Peterlee DZ (near Durham) and spend the week ground training and generally familiarising the guys with the exhilarating sport of skydiving before we even left the UK!16th Air Assault after a hard days jumping!

Once we arrived in California jumping started immediately and thanks to the professional instruction from these two, the students progressed very quickly through the levels and onto their consolidation jumps.

Not only were John and Alan fun to work with on the skydiving side but also great fun on the social side! The trip ran incredibly smoothly and quite often they would put themselves out to ensure as many jumps as possible were made. I enjoyed working with John and Alan immensely and fortunately they have agreed to instruct on my next trip in October 2004.

Mark Robertson - Cat 8

just want to say a big than you Alan for a fantastic week in the Czeck Republic and for making me a skydiver. I was very impressed by your attitude and your mixture of information, excellent tuition, encouragement and your sense of humour. Look forward to having you coach me to Cat 10 in California!

Graham Wooton - Cat 8

Had a great time doing my AFF in California with Alan and John, the weather was great and both of them explained what was expected on each level so I fully understood it. I can't wait for my progression training with them later this year

John and Alan are both very experienced AFF instructors. As a CSI intending to get my rating it was very useful to see two true professionals at work. Their teaching methods were fun and instructive meaning all of their students were left confident and at ease with the course.

As a military jumper I thought Skydiving would be very similar to what I had already experienced. I was wrong. It is such a rush as you go into freefall it's mindblowing.
